Discography Part I

BoA’s discography is extensive and includes sixteen full length albums, two mini-albums, three compilation albums, two remix albums, and one repackaged album. A further breakdown by language reveals eleven Korean language albums, seven Japanese language albums, and one English language album. BoA debuted with ID; Peace B in 2000, followed the next year with her first mini-album, Jumping Into the World, which  in turn was followed by her Japanese debut album Listen to My Heart.  Listen to My Heart gave BoA the honor of being the first Korean artist to top the Oricon chart since the late 1940s. Her commercial success continued in 2002 as she released  two  Korean albums (No.1 and Miracle). BoA released Korean and Japanese albums in 2003, offering Atlantis Princess and Valenti early in the year, and finishing out the year with Shine We Are.  In 2004, Love and Honesty  was released in Japan.
