After four successful years as a member of popular female Kpop group Fin.K.L., Lee Hyori struck out on her own as a solo artist under DSP Media - the same company that managed her former group.is a four-member female group managed by DSP Media. Lee Hyori debuted in 1998 (August), the same year that Se7en and Gummy were introduced to Kpop music lovers.
By the time Fin.K.L unofficially disbanded, the group had already cultivated a mature, sexy image. Lee Hyori continued and expanded on this image, quickly becoming known for her sex appeal along with her singing and dancing talents. As a solo singer, Lee Hyori has focused on maintaining her bombshell image while simultaneously working on revealing her personal interests and approachable nature. In addition to being a vocal animal rights activist, she also has made numerous appearances on television shows like Family Outing and Running Man, which have highlighted her characteristics of teamwork and physical strength. More recently, she has also embraced television hosting duties on shows like You & I.
