Music Video Part I

Sechs Kies first video coincided with their debut single, “Song of a School Life” from the album of the same name. Soon after, the group released another video (“Way of a Man”) from the same album. The group’s first videos showed off their vocals, dance skills, and a typical young male adolescent image. The next video, “As I Let Go,” hails from the group’s album Special, which also serves as an original soundtrack for Sechs Kies film, Seventeen: The Movie. The ballad shows the group’s romantic song as they perform the popular ballad. In 2000, the group prepared to disband, however they continued creating videos until the end, as evidenced in their visual production for the single “Ye Gam” (Intuition). The mid-tempo song allows Sechs Kies a final opportunity to show off all of their talents -singing, rapping, choreography, and distinct member personalities- within the context of a classic romantic tale.
