Videography
Ivy released several videos to compliment her album releases. The video for her debut single, “What Happened Tonight” quickly sets up Ivy as a cosmopolitan urban woman who is confident with her sexuality. Her single video for “A-Ha” continues this theme with even more intense choreography and glamour. In 2007, Ivy released a video supporting her single, “Sonata of Temptation.” Since the video included action choreography from the popular role-playing game Final Fantasy VII, it was banned from being played due to copyright infringement. Two years later, a video was released for Ivy’s single “Touch Me,” which caused another uproar in Korean broadcasting - the video was banned due to inappropriate content. Ivy’s next video, “Torn Heart,” was released in 2012, and seems to tell a story of rebirth - a seeming nod to the challenges in her career up to that point. In 2013, Ivy released, “I Dance,” showing off her choreography skills as she takes her cues from Spanish influences of Spanish dance.
