Music Video Part II

After a hiatus due to compulsory military service, Nell returned in 2012, releasing a video for their single “The Day Before” which deals with serious subject matter: suicide and the regrets of those left behind. In “White Night,” Nell dramatically shows the emotional fallout of how a woman feels when remembering a good relationship that no longer exists (“White Night”). As the group continues, Nell’s videos reflect modern video practices: movie quality film production and graphic or stylized studio sets - all while retaining Nell’s classic reverence to introversion, memory, and longing; tinged with a desire for separation.
