Music Video Part I

1sagain’s videos are intertwined with threads of nostalgia and memories of love relationships simply just running their course or gone horribly awry due to negative emotions. These themes show up from his debut videos (“After Love” and “Love is Gone”) and continue throughout his career. He also weaves a continuing story throughout different albums, returning to story lines in separate videos to give a sense of continuity (or memory for the viewer).  For example, the story that begins in “Love is Gone” is picked up from a different point of view in “My Love, “ and “One Day” and “One Day Part 2” also use the same footage even though the videos are released years apart.  

1sagain shows a more light-hearted (but still a bit melancholy) image in the video “Hospital for the Broken Hearted,” where he upplays the awkwardness associated with the beginning stages of lovesickness.
