Dynamic Duo’s videos are a visual journey of satire, nostalgia, and irreverence with a touch of self-deprecation. Many of their videos take cues from Eastern and Western popular culture: Ring My Bell (using a sample of the American song of the same name) begins with a hilarious montage of well-known movies including “Drunken Master” and “The Exorcist,” and continues with a homage to 70’s style cops and robbers television shows. Let’s Go makes use of the iconic imagery of the English Band The Beatles, Attendance Check covers familiar scenes from “Godzilla” to American public access and Korean Kpop television programs, and Solo is reminiscent of “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.” Continuing the theme of nostalgia - in a more lyrical sense - Go Back shines as a testament to the validity of youthful dreams, while Mother’s Miso Soup uses animation and live action to underscore how the changes in society affect families. Choiza and Gaeko don’t leave out the trials of everyday romance. In Clean they use animation and live action to underscore the trivial daily events of life as they wait for their love interest to return, and in Guilty they act out what brings them to decisively break up with their love interests. After their military service, the duo returns to the music scene with their video Without You -  a K-drama quality video playing out the tried and true (and always emotional) story of a love triangle that ends sadly, but not without a glimmer of hope.
