SM☆SH’s body of work includes a combination of mini-albums, singles, and albums. They debuted as a six-member group with their mini-album Open Fire, promoting their singles “Emergency” and “Never Ending Story.” For the 2008 holiday season, the group released a digital single titled “White Night.”Due to their company CEO’s military enlistment, SM☆SH took a break for  two years, returning to the K-pop landscape with only five members and releasing their single album Lunatic.  In 2011, the group turned their focus to Japan, releasing four single albums (True Love, Do It Do It!, Bounce☆Up, and Step) and a full album Air SM☆SH 1) during that year.

In 2012, SM☆SH returned to Korea, releasing two mini-albums: Get Your Swag On and I’ll Protect You. The former work gained much attention due to Tony Ahn’s direct involvement in promoting the  work - including performing the title song - with the group on various Korean music television shows.
